Starting in Fishguard town, our guide will take you through the Gorsedd Stone Circle to the view overlooking the picturesque Lower Town Harbour and Fishguard Fort. In Lower Town, you will hear true stories of local Pirates and the famous Last Invasion of Britain. After a quick stop for a hot beverage and local cakes, the walk continues through woods beside the Gwaun river.<\/p>\n

The total distance covered is just under 2 miles, which meaning that there’s a lot of time to take in the historical details and spectacular views!<\/p>\n

Terrain<\/span><\/h3>\n

The route taken on this tour does include various environments, there are uphill and downhill paths and short walks along roads. We highly recommend you wear suitable footwear for walking on hard muddy paths, grass, and water.<\/p>\n

Whilst a majority of the route is fairly flat and wide, unfortunately this tour would not be suitable for wheelchair users and prams due to the uphill\/ downhill and narrow footpaths on some sections. Due to the length and terrain, we do not recommend for children under 8.<\/p>\n
