About the Skippers

With decades of experience brother and sister, Padrig & Ffion Rees are committed to the welbeing of the abundant wildlife of the area. They come from a family of seafarers who have all worked the north Pembrokeshire waters for many years. As children spending holidays on a fishing boat with their dad and then on to the passenger boats around Ramsey Island, they developed their love of fishing and the local waters. Ffion started Falcon boats and Padrig Blue Shark Charters.

They both share love and passion for the Pembrokeshire coastline, with a sense of kinship for the land. They know every nook and cranny of the coast, every rock where seals haul out to bask in the sun, where the porpoise feed at the turn of the tide and every haunting emerald cave.

Having operated RIBs in many different commercial applications and delivered specialist RIB training both in the UK and abroad Ffion’s knowledge and understanding of high-speed boats is unique in the UK.

On this trip we are searching for Common and Rissos Dolphins. For the lucky few, maybe a sighting of a whale. There is a wildlife guide onboard each of the boat trips who will show you the wildlife and talk to you about the history and geology.
